WHY YOGA?
Yoga transformed my life when I first tried it over 13 years ago. As a kindergarten teacher, I saw how yoga could help kids release energy and build confidence, sparking my passion for teaching. Yoga has empowered me, and I’m dedicated to sharing that with others.
What Trainings and Experiences Have Made You the Teacher You Are Today?
I started with children’s yoga, developing an after-school program and incorporating yoga into my kindergarten classroom. I then completed 200-hour training in Iyengar, Hatha, and Vinyasa. My journey continued with a Baptiste mentorship program at USMMA, and this fall, I’ll begin an apprenticeship with Jacqui Bonwell, aiming for a 300-hour certification.
What Can a Student Expect in Your Class?
Expect to lengthen and strengthen your muscles while feeling the calming effects of yoga. I focus on core awareness and muscle engagement in each pose and transition, offering a challenging and sweaty class that leaves you stronger, calmer, and happier.
